The Douty Foundation is a private, grantmaking
organization, created in 1968 through the generosity of
Alfred and Mary Douty. Throughout their lives, the founders
showed concern for children, education, and social justice.
In keeping with the philosophy of Alfred and Mary Douty,
the Foundation supports projects that improve the lives
of economically disadvantaged people or social services.
Grants are concentrated within the Greater Philadelphia
area, with preference to Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
